The story in The academy is not interesting or pleasant and neither are the characters. I guess all these geniuses don’t think much about magic, glowing puzzle boxes. has an openly visible in a room that you know people have walked through a few hours before. The game loves to tell you how geniuses and experts teachers are, but for some reason only a dumb kid with no traits and a few low-rent knockoffs are able to notice these inventions, even when there are some. The narrative takes a long time to start and focuses primarily on the founder of the academy, who had a bunch of magical inventions that are mysteriously activated and wreak havoc. You would expect this to be a school of magic because of all the Harry potter promises, but the school seems to focus on puzzles instead.

Once the problem was resolved, he was immediately accepted into the school and classes began shortly thereafter.
